The OM-A6 X series is a high-performance integrated monitoring host designed for various power and environmental monitoring applications in equipment rooms. The system is based on a low-power 32-bit Freescale industrial-grade ARM embedded chip, running on the Linux operating system, and features an independent watchdog, large-capacity storage, and convenient embedded WEB services. It can monitor and manage the operational status and parameters of equipment such as mains power, distribution, UPS, batteries, temperature and humidity, air conditioning, water leakage, fresh air systems, smoke detectors, fire protection, lightning protection, infrared sensors, access control, video (image capture), servers, routers, and switches—without relying on a network or host software—while enabling centralized monitoring and management. Alerts can be sent via SMS, phone calls, email, audible/visual alarms, and WeChat. In abnormal situations such as theft, fire, or power failure, it performs critical data collection, on-site image capture, alarm notifications, and remote control operations. The host provides power to various sensors and can independently supply power to both the host and sensors using its built-in backup battery during outages. It supports monitoring and management directly via an IE browser and includes comprehensive built-in TCP/IP functionality. Its dual-network port design allows for flexible networking or seamless cross-platform integration.
